85 Years Serving Elder Homeless Men

In 1933, May Birchard, politician and anti-poverty activist, founded Haven Toronto (formerly known as The Good Neighbours' Club) to help unemployed men.

The only organization of its kind in Canada today, Haven Toronto serves elder homeless, marginally housed and socially isolated men age 50 and over.
