Haven Toronto — a program of St. Michael’s Homes — is Canada’s only day centre dedicated exclusively to elder homeless men. Since 1933, every day, 365 days a year, we serve men 50 and over who have nowhere else to turn: meals, nursing, housing support, and the dignity of being seen.
Starter-Kit Program
Many Haven members who move off the street or out of shelter need support to turn a room into a place they can actually live — rent deposits, a bed and bedding, kitchen essentials, towels, basic furniture. The Starter-Kit Program provides a one-time gift of up to $1,000, covering what matters most in those first weeks.
