Kindness is the most under-appreciated tool for greater wellness.

 

Along with diet and exercise, simply being warm and thoughtful will do more for your health than any fancy detox or "healing crystals." In fact, new research out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill suggests kindness won't just make you happier and healthier now, but may actually prolong your life.

 

The researchers gathered around 150 middle-aged volunteers and then separated them into three groups.
